Frost Fire Ski and Snow Board Area

The Frost Fire Ski and Snow Board Area is located in the Pembina River Gorge near Walhalla, North Dakota. Frost Fire consists of two lifts, 10 runs, ski rentals, Frost Fire Daylodge, and the Wintersköl lounge. Frost Fire also consists of an outdoor theater with several plays and musicals during the summer.

CFAM

CFAM is a radio station broadcasting a community-oriented full service format of classical music, talk radio with a community focus, agricultural and financial reports and religious programming. Licensed to Altona, Manitoba, it serves the Pembina Valley region of the province. CFAM shares its location with sister stations CKMW and CJEL-FM. It first began broadcasting in 1957 at 1290 kHz before moving to its current dial position in 1968.

Reinland, Manitoba

Reinland is a small town in Manitoba located in the Rural Municipality of Stanley, about 10 minutes south of Winkler, Manitoba, and about 5 minutes north of US border. It has a population of about 500. It was one of the first Mennonite villages established in the west reserve and has some of the best examples of original Mennonite village setup and buildings. The village is part of the RM of Rhineland.
