Wakatomika, Ohio

Wakatomika is an unincorporated community in central Washington Township, Coshocton County, Ohio, United States. A post office was established at Wakatomika in 1823, but was closed down in 1909 and Wakatomika is now covered by the Trinway post office. Wakatomika is named after the Shawnee village of Wakatomika, which was located along the Muskingum River near the present day site of Dresden, Ohio. Wakatomika is located on the Little Wakatomika Creek, and lies along State Route 60.

Adams Mills, Ohio

Adams Mills is a small unincorporated community in northeastern Cass Township, Muskingum County, Ohio, United States. It is located on State Route 16 four miles northeast of Dresden. Little more than a grocery stop in the early 20th century, this mostly residential community grew up around the Adams Brothers flouring mill in the 1830s.
