Edison High School is a public high school in Milan, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Berlin-Milan Local Schools district. There are two elementary schools that feed into one middle school which is then directed to Edison High School. An elementary school is located in each town, Berlin Heights and Milan. The middle school is in Berlin Heights along with the elementary. Edison was created in 1968 when the school districts from Berlin Heights and Milan consolidated.

Avery is an unincorporated community in western Milan Township, Erie County, Ohio, United States. It is part of the Sandusky Metropolitan Statistical Area. Avery is located along US Route 250 near that road's interchange with Interstate 80 and Interstate 90, the Ohio Turnpike. The area is characterized by hotels and some industry. It once had a post office, but is now included in the Milan, Ohio postal zone (44846).
