Great Lakes Mall is a shopping mall in Mentor, Ohio on Mentor Avenue, about 20 miles northeast of Cleveland. The mall has stores such as Macy's, J.C. Penney, Sears, and Dillard's. The mall has around 150 stores and was opened in 1961, making it the first major enclosed shopping mall in Ohio. Olive Garden, Office Max and Barnes & Noble are in the mall parking lot. In the 2008–2009 school year, it shifted from a three-year school (grades 10–12) to a four-year high school (grades 9–12), serving 3,200 students. It is the eighth largest high school by enrollment in the State of Ohio.
