Bellevue Mansion

Bellevue Mansion was a historic country house located between N. Marston and N. Etting Streets, off Allegheny Avenue, in North Philadelphia section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in the United States. Bellevue was purchased from Thomas Ketland and his wife Elizabeth as a country estate in 1802 by Philadelphia merchant Charles Wharton (1743–1838), grandfather of industrialist Joseph Wharton. It was located about 3 miles northwest of Philadelphia, just below the heights of Germantown.

Elisha Kane

Elisha Kent Kane (February 28, 1820 – February 16, 1857) was an American explorer, and a medical officer in the United States Navy during the first half of the 19th century. He was a member of two Arctic expeditions to rescue the explorer Sir John Franklin. He was present at the discovery of Franklin's first winter camp, but he did not find out what had happened to the fatal expedition.

Cohocksink Creek

The Cohocksink Creek was formerly a stream running between what are now the Philadelphia neighborhoods of Northern Liberties and Kensington. It was a tributary of the Delaware River. Its name, spelled various ways, is said to come from a Lenape word for "pine lands. " Alternate names included Stacey's Creek. The creek arose at the confluence of two smaller streams in a pond around the present-day intersection of Sixth and Thompson Streets.

Allegheny (SEPTA Regional Rail station)

Allegheny is a SEPTA Regional Rail station located along the Manayunk/Norristown Line located at 22nd Street and Allegheny Avenue in the Swampoodle neighborhood of North Philadelphia. Allegheny Station is the first station along SEPTA's Manayunk/Norristown line not to be shared with any other line. In FY 2005, Allegheny Station had an average of 66 average weekday boardings and 97 average weekday alightings.
