Swedeland, Pennsylvania

Swedeland is a small unincorporated community in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States, in the suburbs of Philadelphia. Originally founded as "Matsunk" by Swedish settlers in 1710, the name was changed to Swedeland sometime in the late 19th century. Situated along the Schuylkill River and the Matsunk creek it was originally occupied by about 19 homes. By the mid-19th century Abraham Supplee operated a factory producing Kentucky Jean, employing some 25 hands.

Conshohocken is a borough on the Schuylkill River in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, in suburban Philadelphia. Historically a large mill town and industrial and manufacturing center, after the decline of industry in recent years Conshohocken has developed into a center of riverfront commercial and residential development. It is commonly referred to by its colloquial nickname, Conshy.

Conshohocken (SEPTA station)

Conshohocken is a station located along the SEPTA Manayunk/Norristown Line. The station, located below Fayette St, at Washington and Harry Streets in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, includes a 95-space parking lot. Station is only open Monday through Friday from 5:45 am to 12:30 pm, when tickets are sold. Station is closed in the evening rush hour, providing no indoor refuge in cold or inclement weather when it is frequently closed.

West Conshohocken is a borough in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 1,462 in 1880; 2,482 in 1950; 1,516 in 1980; 1,294 in 1990; and 1,320 at the 2010 census. Its sister community is Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, located across the Schuylkill River. Montgomery County's seat, Norristown, is located approximately two miles north of, and across the river from, West Conshohocken.
