Switzerland is an unincorporated community in Jasper County, South Carolina, United States, near the Georgia border. The community is part of the Hilton Head Island–Beaufort Micropolitan Statistical Area. Switzerland's name comes from Swiss natives who originally came to South Carolina and had settled in the nearby Purrysburg settlement on the banks of the Savannah River, near present day Hardeeville.

Coosawhatchie, South Carolina

Coosawhatchie (koos-uh-HATCH-ee) is an unincorporated community located in Jasper County, South Carolina at the northern head of the Broad River. It served as the headquarters for General Robert E. Lee during the early part of the American Civil War. It is accessible from Interstate 95 via Exit 28.

Robertville, South Carolina

Robertville is an unincorporated community in Jasper County, South Carolina. It is named after the Robert family who initially settled in the area and was also the birthplace of Henry Martyn Robert, founder of Robert's Rules of Order. The community is accessible via U.S. Highway 321 and is located about halfway between Hardeeville and Estill.

Point South, South Carolina

Point South is an unincorporated area located in Jasper County, South Carolina near the borders of Beaufort and Hampton counties and close to the geographic center of the Lowcountry. It was developed partially by the Sea Pines Company in the 1960s and 1970s to help attract visitors to the Hilton Head region. Point South is a major exit point along Interstate 95 in the state, as many motorists traveling to the Beaufort and Charleston areas exit the interstate onto U.S.

Jasper County, South Carolina

Jasper County is the southernmost county of the U.S. state of South Carolina. It was formed in 1912 from portions of Hampton County and Beaufort County. As of the 2010 census, its population was 24,777. Its county seat is Ridgeland. Jasper County is included within the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton-Beaufort Metropolitan Statistical Area, though over 80% of the county population is classified as rural.
