Socorro is a city in El Paso County, Texas, United States. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 27,152. By the 2010 census, the number had grown to 32,013. It is part of the El Paso Metropolitan Statistical Area. The city was reactivated in 1986 and has been a working city since then. It has a council manager type of government with five city council members.

Magic Landing was a theme park located in El Paso, Texas. It opened July 4, 1984 and closed mid season of 1988. Magic Landing was one of two amusement parks operating in El Paso during the 1980s. The bridge is also known as "Zaragoza Bridge", "Puente Zaragoza" and "Puente Ysleta-Zaragoza".
