Mt. Blanco Fossil Museum

The Mt. Blanco Fossil Museum is a creationist museum in Crosbyton, Texas, opened in 1998. Its motto is "Digging up the facts of God's Creation: One fossil at a time. " The warehouse-sized museum contains a mixture of fossilized skeletons and cast replicas. The replicas include a juvenile Triceratops, a full-sized mastodon skeleton, the largest hadrosaur leg ever found, and the world's largest ice age bison skull.

Crosbyton, Texas

Crosbyton is a city in and the county seat of Crosby County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,874 at the 2000 census. Crosbyton is part of the Lubbock Metropolitan Statistical Area. Former Crosby County administrative County Judge Joseph P. Heflin represented District 85 in the Texas House of Representatives from 2007-2011. During his tenure Heflin was the only Democrat from either West Texas or the Panhandle serving in the legislature.
