Elberta, Utah

Elberta is a census-designated place (CDP) in Utah County, Utah, United States. It is part of the Provo–Orem Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 256 at the 2010 census. It is also known as "The Slant". It was founded as "Mt. Nebo". After the water failed in 1901 most of the early settlers moved away. It was purchased by Mr. Matthew B. Whitney, a native of New York, on November 7, 1907, and Mr. Whitney renamed it "Elberta" after the peach.

Goshen Reservoir

Tintic High School

Tintic High School is a small rural high school in the Tintic School District. There are approximately 120 students in grades 7-12. Tintic High School is located in Eureka, Utah in Juab County. The school is classified as a 1A school by the Utah Activities Association. They participate in girl's volleyball, basketball, track and Cheer for boy's baseball, basketball they also took state in 1A High School Basketball and track.

Nutty Putty Cave

Nutty Putty Cave is a hydrothermal cave located west of Utah Lake in Utah County, Utah, United States. The cave, first explored in 1960 by Dale Green, is currently owned by the Utah School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration, and managed by the Utah Timpanogos Grotto. In the recent past this cave has had four rescues of cavers and Boy Scouts, who became stuck inside the cave's tight twists, turns, and crawls.

West Mountain Observatory

West Mountain Observatory (WMO) is an astronomical observatory located on West Mountain near the town of West Mountain, Utah (USA), about 22 km southwest of Provo, Utah. The observatory is owned and operated by Brigham Young University (BYU), and opened in 1981 after increasing light pollution reduced the utility of the Orson Pratt Observatory on the BYU campus. The first year of observing with the new 0.9 m telescope included imaging of intrinsic variable stars and high-mass X-ray binaries.
