Mountain View Hospital (Payson, Utah)

Mountain View Hospital is a JCAHO accredited, 136-bed hospital in Payson, Utah, which has provided medical care to the south Utah County community for more than 20 years. They also have a small psychiatric and detox unit, but cannot take blue-sheeted/involuntary patients, that need to be locked up, only those that are voluntary.

George W. Brimhall

George Washington Brimhall (November 14, 1814-September 30, 1895) was a politician in territorial Utah. He was the father of George H. Brimhall. Brimhall was the son of Sylvanus Brimhall and his wife the former Lydia Ann Guiteau. He was born along Canada Creek in the state of New York. In 1827 the family moved to Olean Point, New York and a short time later to Melville, Cattaraugus County, New York.
