Indian River High School (Chesapeake, Virginia)

Indian River High School is a high school in Chesapeake, Virginia. As of the 2006-07 school year, it has approximately 1800 students. The principal is Mr. James L. Frye. The original IRHS, which opened in 1967, was located on Old Greenbrier Road, while construction on the current building took place. The single-story facility opened in winter 1972 on Dunbarton Road, receiving its own address of 1969 Braves Trail in the mid-1990s.

Tallwood High School

Tallwood High School is a secondary school located in southwest Virginia Beach, Virginia. Tallwood was built on the site of an old colonial plantation whose manor house was Tallwood, hence the name of the school. Tallwood was remodeled during 2004-2005. The school's most remarkable feature is the Global Studies and World Languages Academy; one of several magnet programs in Virginia Beach.

Regent University

Regent University is a private coeducational interdenominational Christian university located in Virginia Beach, Virginia, United States. The university, founded by Pat Robertson, which began as Christian Broadcasting Network University in 1978, became Regent University in 1989. Oscar F. Smith High School

Oscar Frommel Smith High School was originally built in South Norfolk, Virginia, to replace the aging South Norfolk High School in 1954. In 1994, a new school was constructed in the Greenbrier/Great Bridge area of Chesapeake, Virginia, and has a current enrollment of over 2,100 students. OSHS was authorized to begin administering the IB Diploma Program by the International Baccalaureate Organization in 2002 and IB students from all six Chesapeake zones feed into it.
