Lorton (VRE station)

Lorton Station is a railroad station located at 8990 Lorton Station Boulevard in Lorton, Virginia. It is served by the Virginia Railway Express Fredericksburg Line. This station is one mile north from the Amtrak Auto Train Lorton Station. Other Amtrak trains that use the right-of-way with the Fredericksburg Line are the Northeast Regional, Silver Meteor, Silver Star, Palmetto, Carolinian trains, none of which stop at either Lorton station.

Accotink Creek

Accotink Creek is a 25.0-mile-long tributary stream of the Potomac River in Fairfax County, Virginia, in the United States. At Springfield, Virginia, Accotink Creek is dammed to create Lake Accotink. The stream empties into the Potomac at Gunston Cove's Accotink Bay, to the west of Fort Belvoir.

Occoquan, Virginia

Occoquan is a town in Prince William County in the U.S. state of Virginia. The population was 759 at the 2000 census, but as of the census of 2010, there were 934 people residing in the town of Occoquan. The town is a suburb of Washington, D.C. and is adjacent to Woodbridge. The current mayor is Earnest "Earnie" Porta, who was first elected in 2006, and won re-election in 2008, 2010, and 2012.
