Three Sisters (District of Columbia)

The Three Sisters are three rocky islands in the Potomac River in Washington, D.C. , west of the Key Bridge. The islets are less well known as the Three Sisters Islands and Three Sisters Island. A notable landmark in colonial times, bridges have been proposed for the Three Sisters several times. The most recent proposal, the Three Sisters Bridge was made in the late 1950s. It led to a decade of protests, after which the bridge was cancelled yet again.

Colony Hill

Colony Hill is a tiny neighborhood located in the southwest corner of Glover Archbold Park in Northwest Washington, D.C. It is bounded on the north and east by the park, on the south by Reservoir Road NW, and on the west by Foxhall Road NW. Colony Hill is purely residential, and so small that it consists of only five streets: Reservoir Road, Foxhall Road, Hoban Road, 45th Street NW, and Hadfield Lane. It belongs within the 20007 zip code.

McDonough Gymnasium

McDonough Gymnasium is a multi-purpose arena in Washington, D.C. The arena opened in 1951 and holds 2,500 people. Ground was broken for construction of the gymnasium on May 20, 1950; the cornerstone was laid on October 14, 1950; the official ribbon cutting and opening was held December 8, 1951. When it opened, capacity was 4,000 for basketball and 5,500 for general events. It was home to the Georgetown University Hoyas men's basketball team before they moved to Capital Centre.

Multi-Sport Field

Multi-Sport Field is a 2,500-seat multi-purpose stadium in Washington, D.C. on the campus of Georgetown University. The field was originally used for intramurals and was adopted for soccer in 1994 as Harbin Field. The name, a placeholder pending final construction, was changed to reflect the football team's use of the field starting in 2003.
