Gardiner is an unincorporated community in Jefferson County, Washington, United States. (Additionally, part of Clallam County located along the Jefferson County line adjacent to Gardiner is often referred to as being part of Gardiner. ) Gardiner is located on the Miller Peninsula, at the northern coast of the Olympic Peninsula on Discovery Bay, which enters the Strait of Juan de Fuca.

Miller Peninsula

The Miller Peninsula is a small peninsula in Clallam County, Washington and Jefferson County, Washington surrounded by Discovery Bay on the east, the Strait of Juan de Fuca to the north, and Sequim Bay to the west. Small residential communities on the peninsula include Blyn, at the southwest corner; Diamond Point, on the northeast corner; Gardiner, midway down the eastern shore; and Discovery Bay at the foot. Beckett Point, Washington

Beckett Point is a small point jutting out into Discovery Bay located ten miles from the city of Port Townsend in Jefferson County, Washington, United States. The Point is owned by the Beckett Point Fisherman's Club, which leases out 96 homes. Many of the families have lived there for several generations, fishing salmon, crab, and shrimp.

Manuel Quimper

Manuel Quimper Benítez del Pino (c. 1757 – April 1844) was a Spanish Peruvian explorer, cartographer, naval officer, and colonial official. He participated in charting the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Sandwich Islands in the late 18th century. He was later appointed a colonial governor in his native Peru at the beginning of the fight for independence there.

Diamond Point Airport

Diamond Point Airport is a private community airport located on the northwest corner of Miller Peninsula in Clallam County, Washington, 8 mi northeast of Sequim. It opened in August 1970. Runway 29/11 is paved (asphalt) and has a length of 2,335 ft x 24 ft, with a grass strip on the north side. Traffic pattern is to the north over the water. Runway lighting is always on at night. Elevation: 262 ft . Deer on the runway are common.
