Sehome Hill Arboretum

The Sehome Hill Arboretum is an 180-acre park of second growth forest located in the city of Bellingham, Washington, USA, adjacent to the campus of Western Washington University. Though called an arboretum, the hilly expanse atop Sehome Hill is not consciously planted as an exhibit of tree species, but naturally wooded and rich in the plant species (both native and nonnative) typical of the region. The arboretum is jointly managed by both the university and the city.

Sehome is a neighborhood in Bellingham, Washington. The neighborhood, named after Sehome Hill, was originally a town owned by the Bellingham Bay & British Columbia Railroad Company (incorporated on July 16, 1888). The name comes from Nooksack S-yah-whom, the name of an early Indian in the area.

Bellingham Sportsplex

The Bellingham Sportsplex is an American multi-use sports facility located in Bellingham, Washington. The Sportsplex contains two turf fields, primarily used for indoor soccer, and an ice rink, used by local amateur ice hockey teams, figure skating lessons and performances, and home games for the Whatcom Soccer Academy Rapids soccer games and Western Washington University hockey teams.

KUGS

KUGS is a college radio station in Bellingham, Washington, USA. KUGS was founded on January 29, 1974 as a 10 watt radio station. In 1984 this was increased to the current 100 watts. KUGS remains an independent and fully student managed college radio station. In 1997 was the second station in the US to broadcast content online, which ended in 2002. In 2006 KUGS began webcasting again through its website. In 1999 the station applied to upgrade to 700 watts effective radiated power.
