U Minh District

U Minh is a rural district (huyện) of Cà Mau Province in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. As of 2003, the district had a population of 91,438. The district covers an area of 764 km². The district capital lies at U Minh. U Minh is famous for its salty mangroves. It is the site of a large gas and electricity facility for the region in Khánh An commune. Transport in the district is mainly through waterways, as it is in a river delta region, and roads are poorly developed.

Thới Bình is a rural district of Ca Mau province in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. As of 2003 the district had a population of 138,763. The district covers an area of 631 km². The district capital lies at Thoi Binh. Thoi Binh borders the district of U Minh to the west, Kien Giang province to the north, Bac Lieu province to the east and northeast, and Ca Mau to the south.

Tran Van Thoi District

Trần Văn Thời is a rural district (huyện) of Ca Mau Province in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. As of 2003 the district had a population of 191,718. The district covers an area of 700 km². The district capital lies at Tran Van Thoi. Tran Van Thoi is located in the western coast of the province and borders the Gulf of Thailand. It borders the districts of U Minh to the north and Ca Mau City to the east, and Phu Tan to the south. The Ông Đốc river flows through the district into the see.

Cà Mau

This article is about a city. "Cà Mau" also refers to a province and to a peninsula. Cà Mau is a city in southern Vietnam. It is the capital of Cà Mau province, a province in the Mekong Delta region, in the southernmost part of Vietnam's inland territory.
