Dương Minh Châu is a rual district of Tay Ninh province in the Southeastern region of Vietnam. As of 2003 the district had a population of 99,230. The district covers an area of 407 km². The district capital lies at Duong Minh Chau. It is the third largest district in the province after Tan Bien and Tan Chau. The majority of the population are ethnic Vietnamese.

Battle of Loc Ninh

The Battle of Lộc Ninh was a major battle fought during the Easter Offensive during the Vietnam War, which took place in Bình Long Province, South Vietnam between 4–7 April 1972. Towards the end of 1971, North Vietnamese leaders decided to launch a major offensive against South Vietnam, with the objective of destroying Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN) units and capturing as much territory as possible, in order to strengthen their bargaining position in the Paris Peace Accords.
