Battle of Binh Gia

The Battle of Bình Gia (Vietnamese: Trận Bình Giã), which was part of a larger communist campaign, was conducted by the Viet Cong from December 28, 1964, to January 1, 1965, during the Vietnam War in Bình Giã. The battle took place in Phước Tuy Province (now part of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province), South Vietnam. The year of 1964 marked a decisive turning point in the Vietnam War.

Xuan Loc District

Xuân Lộc is a district of Đồng Nai Province, Vietnam, in the southeastern part of the country. Located on the National Highway 1 leading out of Ho Chi Minh City, it is most notable for the battle of Xuân Lộc, which took place in April 1975. This was the final large battle of the Vietnam War, where the Army of the Republic of Vietnam has poured all of it's reserve units in order to halt the advance of the Vietnam's People Army 4th Corp . It also has Vietnam’s largest mosque, built in 2006.
