Deniliquin

Deniliquin, known locally as "Deni", is a town in the Riverina region of New South Wales close to the border with Victoria. Deniliquin is located at the intersection of the Riverina and Cobb Highway approximately 725 kilometres south west of the state capital, Sydney and 285 kilometres north of Melbourne. The town is divided in two parts by the Edward River, an anabranch of the Murray River, with the main business district located on the south bank.

Pretty Pine, New South Wales

Pretty Pine is a community in the central part of the Riverina and situated about 17 kilometres south from Wanganella and 18 kilometres north west from Deniliquin. Pretty Pine Post Office opened on 6 October 1890, was reduced to a Telephone office only in 1942 and closed in 1954.

Conargo

Conargo is a town in the Riverina region of New South Wales, Australia. The town is the seat of Conargo Shire. It is on the Billabong Creek, a tributary of the Murrumbidgee River. The nearest towns are Jerilderie and Deniliquin. At the 2006 census, Conargo had a population of 188 people. The Aboriginal name for the locality of Conargo was 'Gooriara', meaning "hopping" or "kangaroo ground".
