Pleasant Hills, New South Wales

Pleasant Hills is a small village about 26 kilometres west of Henty in the Riverina district of New South Wales, Australia. At the 2006 census, Pleasant Hills had a population of 393 people. The village still retains a vibrant community and a number of old impressive buildings. In particular the Public School built in 1891, the Lutheran Church built in 1888 from wattle and daub and, the Public Hall built in 1912, and the Pleasant Hills Community Hotel built between 1917-1918.

Ryan, New South Wales

Ryan is a village community in the central south part of the Riverina. It is situated by road, about 19 kilometres south west from Henty and 30 kilometres north east from Walbundrie. The town was serviced by the Rand branch railway line before the line was closed in 1975.

Henty railway station

Henty railway station is located in the Riverina town of Henty, New South Wales, Australia on the Main Southern railway line — the main line connecting Australia's two largest cities, Sydney and Melbourne. The station is served by the CountryLink Melbourne–Sydney rail service. The station has a single track with one platform. The station building is of timber construction dating back to 1904, with the goods shed being a semi-elliptical roof design, one of the few remaining.
