Tempe, New South Wales
Tempe is a suburb in the inner west of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Tempe is located 9 kilometres south of the Sydney central business district in the local government area of Marrickville Council. Tempe sits on the northern bank of the Cooks River and is separated from Sydney Airport by the Alexandra Canal, also known as Sheas Creek. The Wolli Creek waterway also empties into the Cooks River near Tempe.

Tempe railway station
Tempe railway station is situated on the Illawarra Line of Sydney's CityRail system serving the suburb of Tempe. The station is located on the northern side of the Cooks River between Sydenham railway station and the Wolli Creek Junction. The station now consists of two side platforms and an island platform connected by an overbridge at the northern end. There is no lift access to the platforms.

Wolli Creek railway station
Wolli Creek railway station is an interchange station on the CityRail network, located in the high density Sydney suburb of Wolli Creek. The station serves three lines – the suburban Illawarra Line and Airport and East Hills Line, and the interurban South Coast line. There is one island platform on the four track Illawarra line (platforms 3 and 4) and two platforms below grade but open to the air on the Airport line (Platforms 1 and 2) – the lines they serve intersect at almost right angles.

Sydenham railway station is a major interchange station located in the small Sydney suburb of Sydenham, serving the East Hills, Illawarra and Bankstown lines on the CityRail system.
