Bemm River

The Bemm River is a river of Gippsland in southeastern Victoria, Australia. It is formed by the confluence of the Errinundra and Combienbar Rivers and enters Bass Strait via Sydenham Inlet in the Cape Conran Coastal Park near the township of Bemm River. The catchment comprises mainly public land, including Cape Conran Coastal Park, Bemm River Scenic Reserve, Errinundra National Park and the Lind National Park.

County of Croajingolong

The County of Croajingolong is one of the 37 counties of Victoria which are part of the cadastral divisions of Australia, used for land titles. It is the most easterly county, and includes the Croajingolong National Park. Its western boundary is the Snowy River. The county was proclaimed in 1871 together with others from the Gipps Land District. Some time earlier maps showed proposed counties of Howe and Combermere occupying the area of Croajingolong.

Bemm River, Victoria

Bemm River is a township and locality in Far East Gippsland, Victoria, Australia. At the 2006 census, Bemm River and the surrounding area had a population of 151. The locality surrounds Sydenham Inlet and much of its area to the north is State forest, while Cape Conran Coastal Park adjoins the western shores of the inlet and Croajingolong National Park adjoins its eastern shores. It is renowned for its Bream fishing, which gives it its second name, 'The Bream Capital'.
