Inuksuk High School

Inuksuk High School is the high school of Iqaluit, the capital of the Canadian territory of Nunavut. It offers grades 9 through 12 to a student population of about 450. The focus of the school is on teaching Inuit language and culture. The original name of the school was the Gordon Robertson Education Centre, or GREC. In the early 1990s it was renamed for the Inuksuk monuments that dot the region and are a symbol of the territory.

CFFB (AM)

CFFB is a Canadian radio station, broadcasting at 1230 AM and operates a nested FM rebroadcasting transmitter at 91.1 MHz in Iqaluit, Nunavut. The station broadcasts the programming of the CBC Radio One network, and serves as the regional network centre for Nunavut for the CBC North Radio One network. The local station began broadcasting on February 6, 1961. The "FB" in the callsign stands for Frobisher Bay, which was renamed Iqaluit in 1987.

Diocese of The Arctic

The Diocese of The Arctic is a diocese of the Ecclesiastical Province of Rupert's Land of the Anglican Church of Canada. It is by far the largest of the thirty dioceses in Canada, comprising almost 4,000,000 km, or one-third the land mass of the country. As the name indicates, the diocese encompasses the Arctic region of Canada including the entirety of the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and the Nunavik region of northern Quebec.

CKIQ-FM

CKIQ-FM is a Canadian radio station, which broadcasts at 99.9 FM in Iqaluit, Nunavut. Owned by Northern Lights Entertainment, the station airs a variety/hot adult contemporar format formerly branded as The New CKIQ and Raven Rock, and is one of two commercial radio stations currently licensed to broadcast in the territory. On September 1, 2011, it was rebranded as "The New Triple 9, Ice FM".

Legislative Building of Nunavut

The Legislative Building of Nunavut was built between 1998 and 1999, and became the home of the Legislative Assembly of Nunavut in 1999. It is located in Iqaluit, Nunavut. The building was built by Arcop Group, Full Circle Architecture, and Engineers AD Williams for the Nunavut Construction Corporation. Designated Building # 926, it is a three storey glass and wood structure with a two storey assembly hall. The lobby of the building opens to a two storey atrium.
