Hulsig station

Hulsig station is a Danish railway stop, located in Hulsig south of Skagen, between Frederikshavnsvej and Bunken halts on the Skagensbanen Railway. It was opened in 1890 when the railway started. The former station building was sold in 1969 after the station was set down to a halt.

Råbjerg Mile

Råbjerg Mile is a migrating coastal dune between Skagen and Frederikshavn, Denmark. It is the largest moving dune in Northern Europe with an area of around 1 km² (0.4 mi²) and a height of 40 m (130 ft). The dune contains a total of 4 million m³ of sand. The wind moves it in a north-easterly direction up to 18 m a year. The dune leaves a low, moist layer of sand behind it, trailing back westwards towards Skagerrak, where the Mile originally formed more than 300 years ago.

Aalbæk station

Aalbæk station is a Danish railway station, located in Aalbæk between Skagen and Frederikshavn. The station is a part of the Skagensbanen Railway, between Bunken and Napstjært halts. It was opened in 1890 when the railway started. In 1915 the Folketing agreed to build a new railway between Aalbæk and Hjørring, but it was only the first part between Hjørring and Vellingshøj stations there ever was built. Instead the railway was extended to Hirtshals and this is today the Hirtshalsbanen Railway.

Klitgården

Klitgården is a former summer residence of the Danish royal family situated just south of Skagen on the northern tip of Jutland. The house was designed by Ulrik Plesner for King Christian X and Queen Alexandrine and completed in 1914. It is now owned and run by a trust and serves as a retreat for artists and scientists.
