Satindra Mohan Dev Stadium

Satindra Mohan Dev Stadium is a multipurpose stadium situated at Silchar, Assam. The stadium was earlier known as the DSA Stadium. After extensive upgrade of facilities, it was renamed after the father of Sri Santosh Mohan Dev. The stadium is used for football and cricket and has a capacity of around 22,000. Silchar Airport

Silchar Airport is located in Silchar in the state of Assam, India. It was constructed by the British during the Second World War. The airport is situated on the foothills of the Barail range. It is the fourth busiest airport of the north-eastern India next to Guwahati, Agartala and Imphal. Silchar Airport handles about 230,000 passengers yearly. It is equipped with ILS and Night landing facility.

Silchar Medical College and Hospital

Silchar Medical College and Hospital was established in 1968 in the town of Silchar, India. The Silchar Medical College and Hospital is the only referral hospital in the southern part of Assam and so is the sole custodian of health care system of the entire Barak Valley.
