2011 Gujarat earthquake was a magnitude 5.3 (Mw) moderate earthquake epicentered at Bhuj, Gujarat, India at around 22:48 IST. The earthquake centered within Bhuj area of Gujarat, which was hit by one of India's worst quakes in history 10 years ago. Tremors were felt in Surat, Ahmedabad, Amreli, and Junagadh areas of Gujarat and also in certain parts of Mumbai.

Vanthli

Vanthli, a small town in on the west coast of India. Vanthli is a taluk headquarters in Junagadh district of Gujarat. It is situated 14 km to the east of the district headquarters, Junagadh. Mendarda in the south and Manavadar in the west are the neighboring major destinations. Prime tourist spot near the town is the sacred Girnar Hill. Junagadh Zoo, Rock Edicts of Ashoka and Uparkot Fort are also sites accessible from Vanthli. Keshod Airport and Junagadh Junction Railway Station serve Vanthli.

Junagadh

Junagadh  pronunciation is the headquarters of Junagadh district in the Indian state of Gujarat. The city is the 7th largest in Gujarat, in western India, located at the foot of the Girnar hills, 355 km south west of state capital Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad. Literally translated, Junagadh means "Old Fort". It is also known as "Sorath", the name of the earlier Princely State of Junagadh. After a brief struggle between India and Pakistan Junagadh joined India on 9 November 1947.
