Glin GAA

Glin GAA (Irish An Gleann CLG) is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Glin, County Limerick, Ireland. Glin GAA club was founded in 1897 under the name of Glin Emmetts, in commemoration of Robert Emmett who played a major role in the 1798 rebellion just over a century earlier. Notable rivals include Fr. Caseys, Newcastle West and as of 2009, Mountcollins.

Glin, County Limerick

Glin (Irish: An Gleann, meaning "the glen") is a village in the northwest of County Limerick, Ireland. It is on the south shore of the River Shannon's estuary, on the N69 road between Foynes and Tarbert. The population of the village in 2006 was 566.

Killeedy

Killeedy (Cill íde) is a parish located south of Newcastle West in Co. Limerick in Ireland. This parish consists of two villages, Ashford and Raheenagh. The elevation of the parish varies from 1,184 ft. OS at Mauricetown and 1,082 ft. at Dromdeeveen to 200 ft. OS at Ballintubber. The parish is overlooked by the Mullaghareirk Mountains. The patron saint of Killeedy is Saint Ita.

Shannon Estuary

The Shannon Estuary is a large estuary where the River Shannon flows into the Atlantic Ocean. The estuary has Limerick at its head and its seaward limits are marked by Loop Head to the north and Kerry Head to the south. The estuary defines the main boundary between County Kerry/County Limerick to the south and County Clare to the north.

Feohanagh-Castlemahon GAA

Feohanagh-Castlemahon (Irish: An Fheothanach - Caisleán Uí Mhathúna) is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the parish of Mahoonagh, County Limerick, Ireland. It was founded in 1890. Coolyroe is the main centre for the GAA field, known as Quaid Park. Hurling is the main sport in Feohanagh-Castlemahon (Fheothanach - Caisleán Uí Mhathúna). For Hurling, Mahoonagh parish is represented by Feohanagh and Gaelic Football is represented by Castlemahon.
