It is included in the municipal territories of Bassano del Grappa, Cartigliano and Rosà, province of Vicenza, Veneto. The park was established under the provisions of Government of Veneto's deliberations no.801/2002, 1272/2002 e 3283/2002 and has an area of about 250 ha, of which 150 ha are within the municipality of Rosà.
