Ojuela

Ojuela was a small mining settlement located northwest of the city of Durango, Durango in northern Mexico. The settlement is now a well known as a ghost town as a result of the ore being exhausted. Ojuela was established after the discovery of abandoned gold and silver mines in the area in 1598. The Ojuela Mine produced a large quantity of mineral during the last part of the 19th century.

Ojuela Bridge

The Ojuela Bridge or the Mapimi Bridge (Puente de Ojuela, Spanish name) is a suspension bridge located in Mapimí, in the Mexican state of Durango, at the site of the Ojuela Goldmine. The Ojuela Bridge was designed by William Hildenbrand and built by the firm of John A. Roebling Sons Company, New York. Completed in 1898 the bridge was restored as a tourist attraction in 1991. It has a main span of 271.5 meters and the distance between the pylons is 315.5 meters.

Gómez Palacio, Durango

Gómez Palacio is a city and its surrounding municipality in northeastern Durango, Mexico, adjacent to the border of the state of Coahuila. The city is named in honor of former Durango governor, Francisco Gómez Palacio y Bravo. In the 2005 census, the population of the city of Gómez Palacio was 239,842 people, making it the state's second-largest community and the municipality (including the city) population was 304,515. The municipality's area is 990.2 square kilometres .

Coliseo Centenario

The Coliseo Centenario (Centennial Coliseum in English), officially named "Centro de Espectaculos Coliseo Centenario" is a multi-purpose complex in Torreón, in the state of Coahuila, Mexico. The complex can seat up to 10,000 people. It can also accommodate and services concerts, theater, sports venue, exhibitions and conventions it also has restaurants, a bullfighting museum, and offices.
