Hub Dam
Hub Dam is a reservoir on the Hub River. It is situated 56 km from Kaachi city in Karachi and Lasbela Districts on Sindh and Balochistan provinces border. The dam is extended to 24300 acres with gross storage capacity of 857000 acre feet. It is the Pakistan's third largest dam. It is an important source that provides the drinking water to the metropolitan city Karachi. In 1974, the government of Sindh declared the area around dam as a wildlife sanctuary.

It is also a Union Council of Hub Tehsil and is just a 1 hour drive away from Karachi, Sindh. The population of Gadani was estimated to be around 10,000 in 2005. More than 97% of the population is Muslim with a small Hindu minority. The majority of population speaks Balochi and there is a large Sindhi speaking minority.
