Taiwan Province

Taiwan Province is one of the two administrative divisions of the Republic of China (ROC) that are officially referred to as "provinces". 2013 Nantou earthquake

The 2013 Nantou earthquake was a magnitude 6.0 Mw earthquake which struck central Taiwan on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 10:03 a.m. local time. The epicenter was located in mountainous terrain in Ren'ai Township, Nantou County, Taiwan, not far from Sun Moon Lake. News reports indicate that a 72-year-old woman was killed by being crushed by a collapsing wall and 86 people were injured as a result of the earthquake. Most of the injuries were in Taichung.
