Gaddesby

Gaddesby is a village in Leicestershire, England, south of Melton Mowbray and north east of Leicester. In 1936 the civil parish of Ashby Folville was merged with Gaddesby. Present day Gaddesby has 170 households and a population of almost 450. Recent housing development has made the village a popular, rural dormitory for Leicester.

John O' Gaunt railway station

John O' Gaunt railway station was a railway station serving the villages of Twyford and Burrough on the Hill, Leicestershire on the Great Northern and London and North Western Joint Railway. It opened in 1879 as Burrow & Twyford and was renamed John O' Gaunt in 1883. It closed to regular traffic in 1953. To the south of the station was Marefield Junction.

Beeby

Beeby is a village and civil parish in the Charnwood district of Leicestershire, England, with a population of about 100. It is situated north-east of Leicester, nearer to the villages of Keyham and Hungarton in the neighbouring district of Harborough. The village lies on the Barkby Brook. The parish also includes the hamlet of Little Beeby. The village is referenced in Adrian Mole & the Weapons of Mass Destruction as the home of the Flowers family.

Church of St Mary and St Hardulph, Breedon on the Hill

The Priory Church of St Mary and St Hardulph is the Church of England parish church of Breedon on the Hill, Leicestershire, England. The church has also been known as Breedon Priory and as the Holy Hill Monastery. Originally founded as a monastery in the 7th century, the church contains the largest collection, and some of the finest examples, of Anglo-Saxon sculptures.
