Chyandour

Chyandour (Cornish: Chi an Dowr, meaning "house of the water") is a small settlement within in the parish of Penzance in west Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is on the north-east edge of the town straddling the A30 trunk road. Historically Chyandour was one of the boundaries of the Borough of Penzance, and was the site of large tin smelting works.

Trinity House National Lighthouse Museum

Trinity House National Lighthouse Museum was a museum in Penzance, Cornwall, UK which housed the national collection of Trinity House. In February 2005 Trinity House announced the museum's closure and relocation of the collection. The site of the former museum now forms part of Cornwall Council's plans to re-develop the Penzance harbour area.

Penwith Hundred

Penwith Hundred was one of ten ancient administrative hundreds of the county of Cornwall, England, UK. The ancient hundred of Penwith was larger than the local government district of Penwith (1974–2009) which took its name. The eastern part became part of Kerrier District. All of the Hundreds of Cornwall belonged, and still belong, to the Duchy of Cornwall apart from Penwith which belonged to the Arundells of Lanherne.
