Newlyn Art Gallery

Newlyn Art Gallery is a contemporary art gallery located in Newlyn, Cornwall, UK. Opened in 1895, designed by James Hicks of Redruth and financed by John Passmore Edwards the gallery was conceived as a home and exhibition venue for the Newlyn School of Art the works of which are now largely located at Penlee House Gallery and Museum in nearby Penzance. For almost 120 years, Newlyn Art Gallery has been bringing the best in contemporary art to audiences in the south west.

Kerris

Kerris is a settlement in west Cornwall, England, United Kingdom at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:50.0894|-5.5757|region:GB-CON_type:city|||||| | |name= }}. It is three miles (5 km) southwest of Penzance in the civil parish of Paul. Kerris means "fort-place" in the Cornish language. Kerris has been a settlement for about two thousand years. Its oldest building, a former manor house, dates back to medieval times and there are two working farms in the settlement.

Wherrytown

Wherrytown is a small settlement in west Cornwall, United Kingdom, situated between Newlyn and Penzance on the east side of the Laregan River and now considered to be part of Penzance. The village bore the brunt of the Ash Wednesday storm on 7 March 1962 with most of the buildings destroyed along with nearly one mile of the seafront from the Battery Rocks to Tolcarne heavily damaged. The only Wherrytown building to survive was the Mount's Bay Inn, currently an Indian restaurant.
