Handcross Park School

Handcross Park School is an independent co-educational preparatory school in Handcross, between Crawley, Horsham and Haywards Heath West Sussex, England. The school provides private co-education from the Nursery aged 2, through Pre-Prep and into Prep until aged 13, with a mix of day pupils and boarders. The school traces its origins back to 1887, and moved to its current site in 1968.

Brantridge Park

Brantridge Park, Balcombe, West Sussex, England is one of the lesser royal residences. Standing in Brantridge Forest, it was the seat of the 1st Earl of Athlone, and his wife, Princess Alice of Albany, the last surviving granddaughter of Queen Victoria. Princess Beatrice, youngest daughter of Queen Victoria, also lived in Brantridge Park from 1919 to 1944. More recently the house was divided into apartments, and operated as a time-share resort until January 2008.

Tilgate Park

Tilgate Park is a large park situated in Tilgate, South-East Crawley. It is the largest and most popular park in the area. Originally a 2,185-acre part of the Worth Forest, the park and the surrounding areas were part of the larger Tilgate estate, first recorded in 1647. From that time, industries including Ironworks and furnaces were dismantled and replaced by a landed working estate.

Horsham and Crawley (UK Parliament constituency)

Horsham and Crawley was a parliamentary constituency centred on the towns of Horsham and Crawley in West Sussex. It returned one Member of Parliament to the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. The constituency was created for the February 1974 general election, and abolished for the 1983 general election, when it was largely replaced by the new Horsham and Crawley constituencies.
