Coventry Road Cricket Ground was a cricket ground in Hinckley, Leicestershire. It was located along Coventry Road to the south, Trinity Lane to the east, with Trinity Vicarage Road to the north. Established in 1946, the ground had a capacity of 3,500.

Ashby Road

The Ashby Road ground was a cricket stadium based in the town of Hinckley, Leicestershire, England. It operated between 1911 and 1937. It is now a housing estate. Ashby Road had been used by Leicestershire as an out-ground, and held 19 games. The first game took place in 1911 against Warwickshire and the last in 1937 against Worcestershire.

Stretton Baskerville

Stretton Baskerville is a deserted medieval village and civil parish in the English county of Warwickshire. It shares a parish council with the nearby parish of Burton Hastings. Stretton means "settlement on a Roman Road" (from the Old English stræt and tun). In this case the road is Watling Street.

Hinckley Rural District

The rural district of Hinckley was set up in 1894, covering the rural area around Hinckley, Leicestershire, England. It was named for Hinckley, but did not include it. It was created by the Local Government Act 1894 based on the Hinckley Rural Sanitary District. The district was split up in 1935, under the review caused by the Local Government Act 1929, with part going to Hinckley urban district, and most of the rest going to Blaby Rural District and Market Bosworth Rural District.

M69 motorway

The M69 is a 15.7-mile dual three lane dual carriageway motorway in Leicestershire and Warwickshire, England. It runs between junction 21 of the M1 near Leicester and junction 2 of the M6 near Coventry. It opened in 1977.
