Hucknall Urban District

Hucknall was an urban district in Nottinghamshire, England, from 1894 to 1974. It was created under the Local Government Act 1894 based on the Hucknall Torkard urban sanitary district. It was centred on the town of Hucknall. In 1935 it gained parts of Linby and Papplewick from the Basford Rural District. Its neighbours were the county borough of Nottingham to the south and the Basford Rural District to the north, east and west. Since 1974 it has formed part of the Ashfield district.

Hucknall station

Hucknall station is a railway station and tram stop in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire, England. It is located on the Robin Hood Line 5 miles north of Nottingham and is also the northern terminus of the Nottingham Express Transit. The station has park and ride facilities. TrentBarton Connect Red/Blue bus services connect passengers to the town centre and the western estates, stopping adjacent to the tramstop.

Butler's Hill is a residential area near to the town centre of Hucknall. It is approximately seven miles north-west of Nottingham, England. Butler's Hill has its own tram stop on the Hucknall branch of the Nottingham Express Transit. The footbridge over the tram stop links Butler's Hill with Bestwood Village via the Mill Lakes, part of Bestwood Country Park.
