Longfield and New Barn

Longfield and New Barn is a civil parish in Dartford Borough, Kent, England. It is named after two of the villages it covers, Longfield and New Barn, it also covers the settlement of Longfield Hill. Longfield is the ancient village, situated on the road between Dartford and Meopham; the historic church there is dedicated to St Mary Magdalene. New Barn is larger in population than Longfield, although has little in the way of services, being a recent development and purely residential in nature.

Longfield railway station

Longfield railway station is on the Chatham Main Line, and serves the villages of Longfield and Hartley in north Kent, England. Train services are provided by Southeastern.

Fawkham Junction

Fawkham Junction is a railway junction that currently connects High Speed 1 with the Kent Rail Network. Originally the Junction was part of the London, Chatham and Dover Railway's line to Gravesend West (Gravesend which was already served by the South Eastern Railway's North Kent Line). The intermediate stations were: Longfield Halt, Southfleet, Rosherville Halt and Gravesend West.

New Ash Green

New Ash Green is a village near the ancient village of Ash, in the parish of Ash-cum-Ridley, about 6 miles south of Gravesend in Kent and 21 miles south-east of London. Building of the village began in 1967, with Span as the developer and Eric Lyons as the designer. The architectural design of New Ash Green was extremely innovative for its time. The original concept was a prototype for a new way of living in the latter twentieth century.

Fawkham is a village and civil parish in the Sevenoaks District of Kent, England. The main settlement in the parish is Fawkham Green, which is 2 miles (3 km) south of Longfield and 1 mile from Brands Hatch motor racing circuit. Fawkham is 8 miles (13 km) from Gravesend, 8 miles (13 km) from Dartford and 12 miles (20 km) from Sevenoaks. It is on the northern edge of Sevenoaks district, near its border with Dartford district.
