St Lawrence Ground

The St Lawrence Ground is a cricket ground in Canterbury, Kent and is the home of Kent County Cricket Club. Canterbury East railway station

Canterbury East railway station is one of two stations in Canterbury in Kent, England. It is south-southwest of the city centre and is served by Southeastern. The station and its line were built by London, Chatham and Dover Railway, while Canterbury West was built by South Eastern Railway. Although called Canterbury East the station is about ½ a mile due south of Canterbury West station, and only about twenty yards to its east.

Canterbury

Canterbury is an historic English cathedral city, which lies at the heart of the City of Canterbury, a district of Kent in South East England. It lies on the River Stour. Originally a Brythonic settlement called *Durou̯ernon (composed of the ancient British roots *duro- "stronghold", *u̯erno- "alder tree"), it was renamed Durovernum Cantiacorum by the Roman conquerors in the 1st century AD.
