Warrington Bus Interchange

Warrington Bus Interchange (also known as Warrington Interchange) is a bus station in the town of Warrington, Cheshire, England. The building opened on 21 August 2006, next to the site of a temporary terminus that had been in use for the past thirteen months. The new interchange was built in conjunction with the extension and upgrade of the adjoining Golden Square shopping centre, and replaced the previous bus station which dated from 1979.

Warrington bomb attacks

The Warrington bombings were two separate bombing attacks that happened during early 1993 in Warrington, England, UK. The first attack happened on 26 February, when a bomb exploded at a gas storage facility. It caused extensive damage but no injuries. While fleeing the scene, the bombers shot and injured a police officer and two of them were then caught after a high-speed car chase.

Warrington and Newton Railway

The Warrington and Newton Railway (W&NR) was an early railway company in England. It acted as a feeder to the original Liverpool and Manchester Railway (L&MR), providing services from those two cities to and from Warrington. It was surveyed and engineered by George Stephenson, and received its Act of Parliament on 4 May 1829.

Network Warrington

Network Warrington is a bus operator running a network of services within the Borough of Warrington, England and into the surrounding area, including Altrincham, Leigh, Earlestown and Northwich. The limited company "Warrington Borough Transport Ltd" (WBT) is wholly owned by Warrington Borough Council and makes Network Warrington one of the few remaining municipal bus companies in the United Kingdom today.
