Reader is an unincorporated census-designated place in Nevada and Ouachita counties in the U.S. state of Arkansas. As of the 2010 census, its population is 66. The population was 82 at the 2000 census, at which time it was a town. The town disincorporated in 2002. The Nevada County portion of Reader is part of the Hope Micropolitan Statistical Area, while the Ouachita County portion is part of the Camden Micropolitan Statistical Area.

White Oak Lake State Park

White Oak Lake State Park is a state park in the southwest of the U.S. state of Arkansas, a few miles from Bluff City. The reservoir sits surrounded by tall pine trees, giving it a rich, wooded beauty. The state park offers camping facilities as well as boat and bike rentals, playground facilities and swimming areas. Because White Oak Lake was created in a woodland area, the lake features many submerged dead trees.

Nevada County, Arkansas

Nevada County is a county located in the U.S. state of Arkansas. As of 2010, the population was 8,997. The county seat is Prescott. Nevada County is Arkansas's 63rd county, formed on March 20, 1871, and named after the state of Nevada because of the perceived similarity between their physical shapes; the Arkansas county's shape roughly follows the same outline as the state's boundary when inverted.
