Bismarck, Arkansas

Bismarck is an unincorporated community between Hot Springs and Caddo Valley on State HWY 7 and 84 in Hot Spring County, Arkansas, United States. Bismarck is an unincorporated rural area. In 2002 the local clinic was closed. As a result, the state of Arkansas declared it an MUA (Medically Underserved Area) and BCHC, Inc. was formed to bring health care to the Bismarck area.

DeGray Lake

DeGray Lake is a reservoir on the Caddo River, 8 miles (13 km) from Arkadelphia. DeGray Lake offers a huge span of recreational area and spectacular views. Arkansas Scenic Byway 7 is located on the eastern shore of the lake, and provides views of the lake, and also places to stay down the road. DeGray Lake Resort State Park was opened in 1974 to encourage tourism and recreation on DeGray Lake.

Amity is a city in Clark County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 762 at the 2000 census. The city began on the Caddo River in the mid-19th century when William F. Browning and others, including Dr. A.B. Clingman at various times moved to the area.

Graysonia, Arkansas

Graysonia was once a boomtown in Clark County, Arkansas, United States, but has since become a ghost town. It is located on a dirt road in what is now known locally as "the middle of nowhere", halfway between Arkadelphia and Alpine. There are no populated communities in its vicinity and only a few scattered residences within a few miles of the former town's location. In the early 20th century, Graysonia was a main hub for the local timber industry.
