Devil's Punchbowl (California)

Devil's Punchbowl, elevation 4,750 ft (1450 m), is a tilted sandstone formation in Los Angeles County. It is a county park within the Angeles National Forest on the northern slopes of the San Gabriel Mountains, near Littlerock, California. Short trails within the park showcase the geologic features along the Punchbowl and San Andreas Faults. There are connections to major longer trails leading to the high country.

Mount Waterman

Mount Waterman is a ski area on Waterman Mountain in the San Gabriel Mountains of the Angeles National Forest in Los Angeles County, California. The area is located on California State Route 2, the Angeles Crest Highway, and reaches a height of 8,030 ft with an overall vertical drop of 1,030 ft . Mount Waterman is leased under a special use permit from the Forest Service. Skiable terrain is distributed as: 20% beginner terrain, 20% intermediate, and 60% advanced.

Angeles Crest Highway

The Angeles Crest Highway is a two-lane (one lane of travel in each direction) segment of California State Route 2 in the United States. The road is 66 miles in length, with its western terminus at the intersection at Foothill Boulevard in La Cañada Flintridge and its eastern terminus at State Route 138 northeast of Wrightwood. The majority of the route passes through the mountainous terrain located north of the Los Angeles basin.

Kratka Ridge

Kratka Ridge or Snowcrest is a skiable area on Waterman Mountain in the San Gabriel Mountains of Los Angeles County, California. Located 36 miles northeast of La Cañada and Pasadena along the Angeles Crest Highway, it reaches a height of 7515 feet (2,291 m). The area featured two chair lifts and a rope tow, had a total of 13 runs with a vertical drop of approximately 750 feet (230 m). Trail difficulty can be rated as 30% beginner, 30% intermediate, and 40% advanced.
