Tweed New Haven Regional Airport

Tweed New Haven Regional Airport, formerly known as Tweed-New Haven Airport, is a public airport located three miles (5 km) southeast of the central business district of New Haven, Connecticut, United States. Tweed is currently owned by the City of New Haven. The airport property is located partly within New Haven and partly within the town of East Haven. Tweed is one of two airports in Connecticut with air carrier service, the other being Bradley International Airport (BDL) in Windsor Locks.

East Haven Academy

East Haven Academy is a public Magnet school in East Haven, Connecticut that enrolls children in grades 3-8. It opened its doors on September 3, 1997. In 2005 "EHA" was recognized as a Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education. In September 2007 a team of four 8th grade students from EHA won Gold Medals in the Science Olympics held at Academy of Our Lady of Mercy, Lauralton Hall which tested teams of students in the subject areas of Physics, Chemistry, Geology, and Biology.

New Haven Harbor

New Haven Harbor is an inlet on the north side of Long Island Sound in the state of Connecticut in the United States. The harbor area is an inlet carved by the retreat of the glaciers during the last ice age approximately 13,000 years ago. The city of New Haven and its neighborhoods of City Point, Long Wharf, The Annex, and East Shore lie on the northern and eastern sides. West Haven is on the west. The Quinnipiac and Mill rivers converge and empty into the inlet on its north end.

The Sound School is a regional vocational aquaculture center situated in the City Point neighborhood of New Haven, Connecticut. The Sound School Regional Vocational Aquaculture Center is an accredited inter-district college preparatory high school, one of the 19 vocational agriculture centers in Connecticut, and a part of the New Haven Public Schools system. Quinnipiac River

The Quinnipiac River is a river in the New England region of the United States, located entirely in the state of Connecticut. It rises in west central Connecticut from Dead Wood Swamp west of the city of New Britain. It flows roughly southward to Plainville, Southington, and Cheshire, west of the city of Meriden, through Wallingford and Yalesville, North Haven, and flows into New Haven Harbor, an inlet of Long Island Sound, east of downtown New Haven .
