La Fox is a station on Metra's Union Pacific/West Line, located in La Fox, Illinois, an unincorporated area in Kane County, Illinois. The station is 40.9 miles away from Ogilvie Transportation Center, the eastern terminus of the West Line. In Metra's zone-based fare system, La Fox is in zone I. South Elgin (Amtrak station)

The South Elgin Amtrak station is a proposed train station located in South Elgin, Illinois, and will serve a new Chicago-Rockford-Dubuque Amtrak route that is expected to begin operation in late 2014 or early 2015. South Elgin will be the first stop west of Chicago Union Station. The city of South Elgin is planning the location for the station to be on Randall Road. No other plans for the station have been identified so far.
