Barton City is an unincorporated community in Alcona County in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is situated about 2 miles north of M-72 in the Huron National Forest on the shore of Jewel Lake. Most of the community is within Millen Township, although nearby settlement extends north into Hawes Township. The ZIP code, 48705, serves a much larger area including large portions of Millen, Hawes, and Mitchell Township.

WBKB-DT2 is the primary Fox and secondary MyNetworkTV television station for the Northern Lower Peninsula of Northeastern Michigan. It is a second digital subchannel of CBS affiliate WBKB-TV that is owned by the Marks Radio Group. Over-the-air, the station airs a standard definition digital signal on VHF channel 11.2 from a transmitter in Alcona County near M-72 and south of Hubbard Lake. WBKB-DT2 can also be seen on Charter channel 13 and in high definition on digital channel 786.
