Boyne Mountain

Boyne Mountain Resort is a ski resort with a collection of accommodations in Northern Michigan located near Boyne City. The center piece is an upscale resort called The Mountain Grand Lodge and Spa. The Boyne Mountain Resort was originally co-developed by Everett Kircher, Jim Christianson and John Norton and is now owned and operated by Boyne Resorts. It is also the location of Avalanche Bay, the largest indoor water park in Michigan.

Boyne River (Michigan)

Boyne River is a stream in Northern Michigan, named for the River Boyne in Leinster, Ireland. Together with the north and south branches, the river system has approximately 22 miles of mainstream and the water basin drains 40,320 acres . Boyne River is Lake Charlevoix's second-largest tributary, after the Jordan River.

Boyne City, Michigan

Boyne City is a city in Charlevoix County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 3,735 at the 2010 census. Boyne City is at the southeast end of the east arm of Lake Charlevoix, where the Boyne River enters the lake. It is at the corners of four townships, though it is politically independent: Evangeline Township is to the northwest, Melrose Township to the northeast, Boyne Valley Township to the southeast, and Wilson Township to the southwest.

Jordan River (Michigan)

The Jordan River is a 24.9-mile-long stream in the northwestern part of the lower peninsula in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is the largest tributary of Lake Charlevoix. The Jordan's headwaters rise from springs in the upper Jordan River Valley northeast of Mancelona in Antrim County. The Jordan River was the first river to be designated in Michigan's Natural Rivers Program. The Jordan River is well known for its world-class brook trout fishing and for its scenic canoe trips.

Bear River (Michigan)

Bear River is a small clear slow moving river in the U.S. state of Michigan. 14.7 miles long, it is the largest tributary of Little Traverse Bay in the northwest of the lower peninsula. The river is formed as the outflow of Walloon Lake on the boundary between Charlevoix County and Emmet County, draining from the southeast end of the lake at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:45|15|40|N|84|56|01|W| | |name= }} near the community of Walloon Lake in Melrose Township.
