Batavia Downs

Batavia Downs is a harness racing track and casino in Batavia, New York. It is located in Genesee County between Buffalo and Rochester just off of the New York State Thruway, the I-90. It opened on September 20, 1940, and is the oldest lighted harness racetrack in the United States. The track is exactly 1/2 mile long.

WBTA is a radio station broadcasting a Soft Adult Contemporary format. Licensed to Batavia, New York, USA, the station is the only one directly serving Genesee County and in general serves the area between Rochester and Buffalo. The station is owned by Hpl Communications, Inc. It was broadcasting Citadel Media's "Timeless" format, but as of February 13, 2010; the current format is aired locally.

First Presbyterian Church (Batavia, New York)

The First Presbyterian Church in Batavia, New York, United States, is located at East Main and Liberty streets. It is a joined complex of several buildings. The main one, the church's sanctuary, is a limestone Gothic Revival structure built in the mid-19th century. Its congregation was the first church to be organized in Batavia, albeit as a Congregationalist group at that time.
