Belmont Lake State Park

Belmont Lake State Park is located in Babylon (town), New York on Long Island in Suffolk County, New York. The park has boating and picnicking facilities and playing fields for popular sports. A Modern children's playground is also available. It is convenient to the Southern State Parkway at Exit 38 as well as Exit 37N to Belmont Avenue. Half Hollow Hills Central School District

Half Hollow Hills Central School District (#5) is located in Dix Hills and Melville, New York. The district includes parts of both Huntington and Babylon townships. The school district contains eleven schools (seven elementary schools, two middle schools, and two high schools). The current superintendent of schools is Mrs. Kelly Fallon. The district continues to annually have large population increases due to extensive development within its borders.

Edgewood State Hospital

Edgewood State Hospital was a tubercular/psychiatric hospital complex that formerly stood in Deer Park, New York, on Long Island, New York, USA. It was one of four state mental asylums built on Long Island, and was the last one of the four to be built. The hospital was built in the early 1940s, believed to be a Works Progress Administration-funded project.

Republic Airport is a state-owned public-use airport located in East Farmingdale, Suffolk County, New York, United States. The airport is on Long Island, one mile (2 km) east of the central business district of Farmingdale. Although mainly a general aviation airport, it is designated as a reliever airport according to Federal Aviation Administration records. The airport had 2,036 passenger boardings (enplanements) in calendar year 2009 and 2,329 enplanements in 2010.
